This week we have listened as the media tries to scare the stuff-en out of everyone about storms, flooding, and all else detrimental to ES living. However, we did find time to verify the rock are here and in good numbers. This weeks trip Was a little rough but well worth it. we boated 60-70 rock with all but a few reaching over 18″. Of coarse with 2015 laws we could only keep the ones over 20″ which weren’t to hard to find. The fish bit Mirrdine and Bassassin 4″seashad lures on the last part of the flood tide. The water had cooled down to 72 degrees which probably helped us out a lot. We got to try the new star stellar 4-10 light rod and were very impressed with it’s ability to load up with such light lures. All I can say is as soon as to weather brakes just a little, I’ll be trying to get back on those fish!
