Fishing opportunities have been a bit sparse here lately but we have been able to sneak out between the wind gusts and produce a little pullage. Jigging or trolling the mouth of the Potomac to eeling the lower portions of the Chesapeake, some beautiful rock have made their migration to the back of a landing net.

The Pocomoke has continued to be the backbone of windy weather angling as its sheltered waters give us a fix and our rods a bend during times that are too rough to navigate. The water, as of late, has been a little cold which has made the bite a little light and catching a little tougher than normal. However there are still crappies , yellows, pickerels , and bass to ring out the last of ‘25.
