It’s been a great run of flounder. The inshore bite has still been productive with keepers mixed in with lots of shorts. We’ve done best on silversides/ gulp on top and minnow / squid on bottom. The tide of choice is the last of the flood and first of the ebb which has supported the cleanest water. The railcars of Chinco. have been constantly improving with nice flounder in and around the structure. Some of the shallower wrecks are holding some triggers and spades. Offshore has produced good numbers of mahi and some yellowfin in the Washington with a few white marlin in the mix. The mouth of the bay is still producing cobia around the cbbt. The fish are taking bunker and live eels. The inshore shark frenzy is in full swing. Wednesday the kids and I had 3 blacktips 4 sandbars and a dusky ranging up to nearly 5 feet. The fish were chummed up and took mackerel baits . Don’t forget to join in our adopt a family flounder tourney on 7/3 & 7/4 . Entry fee is only $15 and kids are free. There is $600 in prize money and you may fish anywhere.
